This is one moldy chili dog from an otherise sonic unleashed pc download series. Easily the best boost style sonic game. Forces didn't even come close to meeting it's standards. Just the thought of Sonic turning into a werehog was mind blowing and I was hyped af for this game and I remember getting it for Christmas. I got the game for the PS2 and I played it all the time and it was really fun! Unfortunately I accidentally deleted my saved data and I had to start the whole game over and then all of sudden the game wouldn't start and I couldn't play it anymore but now that its on Xbox One I can finally play it again!
The graphics are good, the gameplay is fun as hell, and the music is outstanding. Overall this game is amazing and I highly recommend playing it! Out of all the Sonic games this one is hands down my favorite! Sure, boost-formula Sonic games are over-used and soulless these days, but this was from a time before sonic unleashed pc download modern day Sonic slump existed. The plot actually tries and results in some good tense moments that add stakes and drive the player to see where things will go next.

Sadly, this game is bogged down by hub worlds with boring activities that you must complete to progress and by over-use of the Werehog. I like the Werehog, but there are simply too many Werehog stages and too few standard Sonic stages. Lastly, the game currently lacks Xbox One X enhancements; the game's art is fantastic, but it's held back by a really lackluster subp resolution that an X patch would do wonders to resolve!
